Greek authorities have been warning aspiring bathers not to swim at the Athenian beaches that have bared the brunt of the oil spillage, following the sinking of a tanker earlier this month.
However, the woman in the photo has apparently not heard the warnings.
The photo; which has gone viral, was taken by Belgian photo-journalist Max Gyselinck, who is on assignment in Athens.
He says that the location is a beach at the coastal municipality of Palaio Faliro, south of Athens.
